SCREW WITH HEAT EXCHANGE FUNCTION, KNEADER AND EXTRUDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw with a heat exchange function which is capable of controlling a temperature by stably feeding a heat exchange medium for a long time without causing a fatigue failure of a heat exchange medium feed pipe, even when the screw is bent and deformed during kneading and extruding a raw material.

SOLUTION: The screw with a heat exchange function is rotatably fitted inside a barrel and equipped with a heat exchange medium chamber extending longitudinally in the center of the radial direction and a heat exchange medium feed pipe 1 for feeding the heat exchange medium into the heat exchange medium chamber. The heat exchange medium feed pipe 1 is constituted of a pipe longitudinally split into not less than two sections and a pipe connecting joint 4 which connects the split pipe 2 with a degree of freedom allowing the pipe 2 to move a specified movement distance in the longitudinal and radial directions.
