An incoming radio wave is received by array antenna elements which constitute an array antenna, and the correlation between received data of some array antenna elements is calculated to define a correlation matrix which does not undergo additional noise present in each array antenna element. Next, a noise partial space is defined from the correlation matrix defined by a simple linear operation on the basis of division of an array response matrix to estimate a signal that enters the array antenna. Since it is unnecessary to calculate the correlation between the data received by all the array antenna elements, and to perform eigenvalue decomposition, the computational complex is reduced and the noise resistance is improved. |
