Talking doll activated by external sound source - has internal electric motor to move lower jaw in lifelike manner

The talking doll has its lower jaw connected by a rod and crank-shaft to an internal electric motor. The electric motor is controlled by a circuit which can be activated by a sound source so that rotation of the motor causes the doll's jaw to move. The circuit is activated intermittently whenever the level of the sound exceeds a predetermined threshold level. An automatic amplifying and control device to control the mean sound level of the sound source is included in the control circuit. The sound source can be enclosed inside the doll's head.
