<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electron source in which improvement of durability is made, and furthermore in which an image display apparatus with little brightness variation can be formed. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the electron source has a step to form a first conductive member 27, a second conductive member 28 which is electrically connected to the first conductive member 27 and which is lower in resistance than the first conductive member, a step to turn on electricity to the first conductive member 27 through the second conductive member 28 and to form an electron ejecting part in the first conductive member, and a step to make resistance Rsm of the first conductive member 28 and resistance Rc of the second conductive member 28 be Rsm<Rc after turning on the electricity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
