PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the impact resistance and appearance of a coating film by together using an acrylic emulsion and a urethane emulsion in aqueous intercoat coating when aqueous coating is also used as an intercoating base in a three-coat one-bake coating system. SOLUTION: This double-layered coating film is formed by successively coating a base material, on which an electrodeposition coating film is formed, with aqueous intercoat coating (1), aqueous base coating (2) and clear coating (3) by a wet-on-wet process and baking and curing the obtained double-layered coating film at the same time. The aqueous intercoat coating (1) contains the acrylic emulsion with a mean particle size of 0.05-10μm and the urethane emulsion with a mean particle size of 0.01-1μm and a curing agent. The mean particle size of the acrylic emulsion is same to or larger than that of the urethane emulsion and the number ratio of acrylic emulsion/urethane emulsion is 1/0.1-1/500.
