PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an oilless sensor cheaper than Teflon (R) coating by forming dry film coating over the whole of a probe. SOLUTION: The linear sensor is constructed so that obtains smooth sliding without needs to provide a particular facility such as conventional Teflon (R) coating and to feed an oil, due to dry film coating 20 formed over a core sliding guide 7, a core 5 and a probe 2. The linear sensor realizing the low price and high durability thereof and prolonging the lifetime in a working condition is obtained, by providing dry film coating over the whole of the probe having the core.
