PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-plane shearing testing method for a rubbery elastic laminate capable of easily performing the laborary test of shearing fatique durability at a member level by a relatively simple tester to evaluate the same, and in-plane shearing test equipment therefor. SOLUTION: In this in-plane shearing test equipment 1, a plurality of rod-shaped fixing jigs 3a, 3b and 3c are parallelly arranged between a pair of mutually opposed support plates 2a and 2b at an equal interval and the fixing jigs 3a and 3c on both sides are detachably attached to mutually opposed support plates 2a and 2b through nuts 4 while the central fixing jig 3b pierces the screw part 5 formed to one support plate 2a to be connected to the drive rod 6a of a drive means 6 through a nut 7 in a positionally adjustable manner. Fixing means 8a, 8b and 8c for attaching the central part and both side edge parts of the rubbery elastic laminated test body W in a detachable manner are respectively provided to the almost central parts in the longitudinal direction of the fixing jigs 3a and 3c on both sides and the central fixing jig 3b.
