The rail silo wagon transports food crops in silos (3) arranged one behind the other. The silos have closable loading apertures and run-out funnels (5). These are made of stainless steel, which can have no effect on the crops carried. All components of the silo which may come into contact with the crops during handling may be made of stainless steel.
