SUBSTANCE: silencer consists of body with partitions and damping screens made of flexible material; exhaust port and diaphragm in the form of hollow cone made of porous material. Diaphragm is enclosed in casing and connected to exhaust port. In this case, diaphragm internal surface is conical and its area related to exhaust port area as (8-20)Kp, where Kp is penetration factor of diaphragm material.
