The proteolytic enzyme based on P chrysogenum Pg222 comprises an approximately 35 kDa molecular weight product formed by culture in medium generating extra-cellular proteolytic enzymes. Also claimed is a process making the enzyme comprising isolating and purifying the highly-active enzyme.
