PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of correcting errors at a higher code rate in N: N+1 channel codes. SOLUTION: This method includes a process for categorizing 2N+1 code word (N+1) turples into M (M is an integer of 2 or above) code word (N+1) tupple subsets, a process for forming a reference table by matching 2N message N tupples with 2N code word (N+1) tupples in each of M subsets one to one, a process for splitting an input message into a plurality of message N tupples, a process for coding each message N tupple included in a plurality of message N tupples into a corresponding code word (N+1) tupple in sequence with the reference table, a process for allocating one subset parity (P-Q) tupple to Q code word (N+1) tupples, and a process for transferring Q code word (N+1) tupples and one subset parity (P-Q) tupple.
