The terminal has an integrated circuit (IC) card mounting module to mount selected one of a non-contact and a non-contact/contact IC card (104). A memory module stores conditions for corresponding operation. A control section performs a predetermined corresponding operation in a case. A change occurs in contents of the IC card as a result of an access that satisfies the conditions for the corresponding operation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a management apparatus; and (b) an IC card management method for managing an IC card mounted in a portable terminal.
