摘要

The medium has a recording layer on a substrate, and comprising one polymer. The polymer includes a thiother bond, and a sulfer equivalent of not less than 1.2 milliequivalent per gram. The polymer has an inorganic/organic ratio represented in an organic-inorganic conceptional diagram. The polymer includes a partial structure represented by a formula P-Y-S, where P represents a polymer residue or oligomer residue.
