The method involves registering communication nodes and their access parameter in a memory and accessing terminals (EG1, EG2) on the memory. The access parameters are transmitted to the terminals. Logging on of the terminals are on the basis of the received access parameters with the communication node. An independent claim is included for an arrangement for log-on of terminal at communication node.
