The containment system includes two or more horizontal rails arranged longitudinally at different intervals, and vertical support posts arranged at regular intervals. The post support comprises two tubular sections, absorbing elements, rails and stirrups which provides connection to post. A baseplate allows fusible portion to move and a fixing device maintains the post in its initial position in the event of impact.
