PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage disposer, in which by making a drying of garbage and a microbial degradation act efficiently, the efficiency of the drying is improved, and at the same time, a low cost, a downsizing, and an observation of a microbial carrier can be also realized. SOLUTION: A garbage storing section 21 containing the microbial carrier degrading the garbage, and degradation-treating the garbage thrown in, a cover 28 opening and closing an opening of the garbage storing section 21, and an air-blowing means 35 sending the air into the garbage storing section 21 are provided. An air-blowing opening portion 33, through which the air-blowing means 35 sends the air into the garbage storing section 21, is formed on the cover 28.
