<p>A hard metal shear blade, of high thermal conductivity and having a non-tapering edge region (3) on each side of a tapering cutting region (2), is new. A hard metal shear blade (1), with a V-shaped or arcuate cutting region (2) of tapering cross-section, is made of a hard me with a thermal conductivity of≥85 W/m.K and has, on each side of the tapering cutting region (2), a non-tapering edge regio (3) with an average width (b) of 5-30 % of the total average blade width (B) at this region.</p> |
