Prostaglandin-induced increased pigmentation of the iris can be avoided, or significantly reduced, when using a selective EP2 prostanoid receptor agonist in combinati on with an alpha-adrenergic agonist. Methods and compositions for the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension are described.
