A method for maintaining embryogenic capacity of immune somatic embryos from both cryopreserved or non-cryopreserved genotypes of panaceas trees, comprising applying to said immature somatic embryos a preservation treatment in liquid media causing preservation of said embryos, treatment for establishment, reduction of proliferation prior to prematuration treatment for applying maturation treatment of somatic embryos.
