FIELD: systems for heating rooms. ^ SUBSTANCE: ground-type convector comprises support, tubular heat exchanger connected with the support and made of at least two pipe branches and heat exchanging plates secured to the pipe branches, and casings secured to the support . Each of the housing has sides and face panel connected with them and provided with the openings for discharging air and top and bottom flanges. Each of the casing has open back and bottom sides that define air-sucking port in the bottom section of the casing. The support comprises at least two vertical walls and at least two vertical pillars arranged below the walls. Each pillar and adjacent wall are interconnected for permitting movement in the vertical direction and locking the wall with respect to the pillar. The bottom section of each wall is provided with vertical parallel grooves that separate the wall into the end parts and intermediate part. From above and from bellow the intermediate part is provided with vertical open bottom and top grooves. Each pillar in the top part has vertical grooves that separate the pillar into the end parts and intermediate part provided with vertical top groove open from above. The grooves in each wall and pillar receive the branches of heat exchanger tube. The top grooves in the walls receive top flanges of the face panels of the casings. Each pillar and adjacent wall are interconnected via fastening members mounted in the opening in the wall, top groove of the pillar, the opening of the pillar, and bottom groove in the wall. Each bottom flange of the face panel of the casing is connected with the pillar.
