APPARATUS FOR REMOVING BOTTOM DROSS OF HOT DIP GALVANIZING BATH INSTALLED IN IRON WORKS BY USING BUCKET

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for removing bottom dross of hot dip galvanizing bath to automatically remove various dross settled on the bottom of the hot dip galvanizing bath using a bucket. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a moving unit (10) installed in an upper part of the hot dip galvanizing bath to longitudinally and laterally move a bucket (80); a liftable and lowerable unit for lifting and lowering the bucket installed at the moving unit by a wire rope; a bucket opening and closing unit (50) for opening and closing the bucket by the wire rope; and a control system for operating the bucket, wherein molten zinc discharge holes are formed on the bucket so that molten zinc solution is flows out through the molten zinc discharge holes when the bucket is lifted with the bottom dross being collected in the bucket, and wherein a load cell is installed at a liftable and lowerable frame of the bucket opening and closing unit equipped with the bucket to sense load variation of the bucket and control the bucket when the bucket is lowered to the bottom of the hot dip galvanizing bath.
