PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register a title name related to image data being an object of registration without requesting a troublesome operation and to easily search the target image. SOLUTION: A system is provided with a camera part 105 which image-picks up sight information and outputs image data, an image data processing part 106 converting image data into that of a display form and a storage form, an image data character string conversion processing part 107 converting luminance information of image data into data where one pixel is shown by a binary and extracting a character string by collating it with a character recognition pattern, a memory part 104 registering the character string as the title name and registering also image data, and a control part 103 performing various control of display of the title name in a list, retrieval of image data related to the title name selected in the list, display of data or the like.
