PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for manufacturing a high voltage CV cable avoiding waste of inert gas and ensuring safety. SOLUTION: The equipment 21 for manufacturing the high voltage CV cable is equipped with an inert gas atmosphere vessel 23 capable of exposing a stranded conductor 25 introduced inside from the conductor introducing port 30, and a packing case 24 having a packing 34 coming in contact with the stranded conductor 25 and arranged on the conductor introducing port 30 side. Pressing force produced following the running of the stranded conductor 25 to the inert gas atmosphere container 23 is applied to the packing case 24 coming in contact with the stranded conductor 25 through the packing 34, and the packing case 24 is formed so as to airtightly contact with the inert gas atmosphere container 23.
