PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform angle switching of the video recorded by an interleave unit such as multi-angle prescribed in a video play-back format of a DVD or the like at high speed. SOLUTION: This player is provided with a servo adjustment start means 7c prohibiting the start of the servo adjustment for a servo adjusting means 6 for a fixed time when a play-back system change receiving means 13 receives a play-back system change request. Seamless play-back is realized keeping always the optimum adjustment state by deciding the timing at which the servo adjustment start means 7c performs servo adjustment and deciding information quantity to be stored, also, a switching time of information can be shortened when a play-back system of video and sound is changed though an information storing means 3 functioning as a buffer is enlarged more than that required for the time necessary for adjustment.
