PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement kiln bleed gas treating system for lowering its operation cost by sharply reducing the use of chemicals for regulation of the pH of the drain water after the solid/liquid separation in desalting of chlorine bypass dust, etc. SOLUTION: In this method, the pH of a slurry obtained by wet-type dust collection is controlled to not lower than 3 but not higher than 6, using a cement kiln bleed gas treating system equipped with a probe 3 which bleeds a part of combustion gas from the route of the kiln flue gas from the kiln bottom of a cement kiln 2 to a bottom cyclone, a classifier 5 which separates coarse powder of dust contained in the flue gas bled from the probe 3, a wet-type dust collector 6 which collects the dust from the bleed gas containing minute powder discharged from the classifier 5 using a solvent, a solid/liquid separator 10 which separates the slurry from the wet-type dust collector 6 into a solid and a liquid, and drain water treating units 11-18 which remove noxious matters containing heavy metals discharged from the solid/liquid separator 10.
