<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepaid IC card for applying a privilege corresponding to a use sum without applying a load on a host system. <P>SOLUTION: This prepaid IC card used for a processing system for the same comprises a flush memory 61 as a storage means for data on a sum of money, in which data on a sum of money to pay a fee for a toll road are stored; an antenna 63 for reading the data on the sum of money from the memory 61, according to a request for reading the data when using the road and transmitting the data; and an MPU 65 for updating data in the memory 61 by data on a payment result received at the antenna 63, adding and tabulating data on the payment result received at the antenna 63 at each use of the road, storing data on tabulation results into the memory 61, and transmitting the data on the tabulation results stored in the memory 61 through the antenna 63, according to a request for reading the tabulation results from the host system 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
