PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a foamed molding which can keep the pressure of a heating cylinder within a set pressure, has high responsiveness to the recovery of pressure when the pressure is below the set value, prevents kneading nonuniformity, and can obtain the foamed molding of high quality. SOLUTION: The foamed molding can be obtained from a plasticization process and an injection process. When the plasticization process is finished, the movement of a screw in the axial direction and in the rotation direction is prevented. The pressure of a foamed molten resin material in the heating cylinder is monitored. When the monitored pressure is lowered to the set pressure of at least a supercritical pressure or below, the movement of the screw in the axial direction is made free, so that the screw is moved in the axial direction to keep the pressure of the foamed molten resin material at the set value.
