PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module capable of improving a frequency characteristic. SOLUTION: The optical module 1 is provided with a first mounting member 3, semiconductor light-receiving element 5, optical fiber 7, first capacitor 9 and second capacitor 11. The member 3 includes a first region 3a having a power supply pattern 13. The pattern 13 has a first portion 13a, a second portion 13b and third portion 13c provided between the first portion 13a and the second portion 13b. The receiving element 5 is mounted on the third portion 13c of the pattern 13. The optical fiber 7 is optically connected to the receiving element 5. The first capacitor 9 is electrically connected to the first portion 13a of the pattern 13. The second capacitor 11 is electrically connected to the second portion 13b of the pattern 13.
