PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote hall call method for an elevator capable of preventing a user having called for the elevator in a position apart from any elevator hall from making extra labor of calling the elevator again in the elevator hall. SOLUTION: According to the invention, the elevator to make service in response to the hall call is selected again and dispatched in case the designated elevator has reached the elevator hall and made service within the specified time, i.e. before the user arrives at the elevator hall.
