SEAT FRAME FOR MOTORCYCLE AND MOTORCYCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat frame made of magnesium alloy for a motorcycle with high strength and excellent heat-resistance. SOLUTION: The seat frame for the motorcycle supports a rider seat and a passenger seat and comprises a magnesium alloy. The seat frame for the motorcycle is provided with a bottom part 140 extending in a longitudinal direction; a pair of side wall parts 142, 144 extending in the longitudinal direction and provided on the bottom part so as to clamp the bottom part; and at least one rib provided on the bottom part and extending in a direction crossing the longitudinal direction. A first base and a second base for supporting right side and left side foot rests 145 for the passenger are provided on the bottom part 140 and at least one rib connects the first base and the second base.
