The hinge joint has a hinge pin located in a seat bore in one component. The hinge pin is integral with a first component (2), e.g. a link arm, and is formed by an expandable ring collar (4) with a ring space. This forms part of an insertion bore (7) in the first component. An expanding bolt (5) connected to the first component via a breaking point (9) is positioned opposite to the bore and is fitted into it. The collar has an expandable ring zone, and is esp. formed by expander fingers (13). First and/or second component (2,3) are of plastic, or a metallic material, esp. a cast material.
