<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color tone controller for settling control operation of ink supply amount quickly by recognizing an actually printed matter again as a new reference sheet. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 20 comprises an ROM 21, an RAM 22, a CPU 23, and first and second image memories 24 and 25. Reference image data obtained from an imaging means 14 is stored in the image memory 24. Image data of a printed matter obtained from the imaging means 14 is stored in the image memory 25. When an operator judges that the color tone of a printed matter is sufficiently close to that of the reference sheet, a control panel 15 designates to replace the original reference image data stored in the image memory 24 through the CPU 23 by new reference image data, i.e. the image data of a printed matter stored in the image memory 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
