<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing system, receiving apparatus, information storage device and signal processing method which enable effect resulting from arranging insertion contents to be easily increased. <P>SOLUTION: An advertising signal DCM is supplied to a broadcasting apparatus 21 and transmitted together with a signal of a broadcasting program. A receiving apparatus 31 detects and records the advertising signal from the received signal, and produces specific information RPC for specifying the advertisement and supplies it to a server 41. The server 41 associates reference specific information for a propaganda advertisement of a reference advertising signal DCMr with related information and holds the information. The related information associated with the reference specific information equal to the supplied specific information RPc is supplied to the receiving apparatus 31 as a response signal Dsc. An advertisement to which the application of a bonus is set, contains bonus identification information in the related information. The receiving apparatus 31 presents the related information for each advertisement and when the bonus identification information is contained, setting of the application of the bonus is presented so as to be discriminated.
