PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide air stream detecting system and method which extract, as a sample, an air stream flowing through the detecting device and compare the air stream with ambient air stream conditions, thereby being capable of informing the limit of the air stream in the form of a signal; and are inexpensive in installation and maintenance costs. SOLUTION: A device 1 with multiple sensors 10, 20 which are coupled to a single control unit 30 to detect multiple alarming conditions, monitors and interrogates an air stream passing through a heating/ ventilation/ air conditioning type duct, and varies ambient conditions such as smoke, heat, gas or relative humidity.
