PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily dismantle a pipe joint by simplifying a diameter enlargement of a lock ring and extraction of an insertion port. SOLUTION: In this dismantling device of the push-on type pipe joint, a projection formed at a distal end of the insertion port 2 of one pipe 1 formed with planar projecting parts 3 having projections 4 for pushing pipes is engaged to the lock ring provided within a socket 6 of the other pipe 5 when applying extracting force to the pipe joint for joining the insertion port 2 and the socket 6. The device is provided with a sheet pile 12 inserted into the socket 6 from between the projecting parts 3, a push ring 13 abutted on one end of the sheet pile 12 and movable along the insertion port 2 of the one pipe 1, a fixed band 17 fixed to the one pipe 1 and a cylinder 20 fixed to the fixed band 17. When inserting the sheet pile 12 into the socket 6, a rod 20A of the cylinder 20 is made to abut on the push ring 13 to extend the rod 20A. When extracting the insertion port 2 from the socket 6, the rod 20A of the cylinder 20 is made to abut on the socket 6 to extend the rod 20A. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
