摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately cut fuel when a fuel cut permission condition is satisfied, and to have a fuel pressure of an accumulator approximate to a required fuel pressure after a satisfaction of a fuel cut recovery condition by configuring the fuel pressure of the accumulator controllable. <P>SOLUTION: The control device for an engine provided with a high-pressure fuel pump (5), the accumulator (12), a fuel injection valve (13), a required fuel pressure setting means (21) and a fuel supply rate variable control means (21), comprises a means (21) for performing a fuel cut for blocking a fuel supply from the fuel injection valve (13) when the fuel cut permission condition is satisfied and thereafter restarting the fuel supply from the fuel injection valve (13) when the fuel cut recovery condition is satisfied, and a accumulator pressure reducing means (15, 17, 18, 21) for reducing an actual fuel pressure of the accumulator (12) by the time the fuel cut is actually recovered after the fuel cut permission condition is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
