<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe connecting tool which does not require special piping such as a bend, capable of performing the pipe cutting work without requiring skillful technique, while shortening the working time. <P>SOLUTION: This tool for connecting pipes P positioned in different stages is provided with a pipe-inside clamp part 2 to be inserted into an end of the pipe P freely to be enlarged/contracted like a pantograph, a support rod 5 removably provided through a ball joint 4 freely to tilt, a guide pipe 6 capable of sliding in the axial direction, a thermal cutting machine 7 capable of moving in the circumferential direction, and a sleeve-like connecting rod 8 for providing a pair of support rods 5. The pipe-inside clamp part 2 having the support rods 5 unified with each other by inserting the connecting rod 8 into end parts of the support rods 5 is fixed to the inner surface of the end of the pipe P, and the end surface of the pipe is thermally cut, while moving the thermal cutting machine 7 provided in the guide pipe 6 in the circumferential direction, to arrange them in parallel with each other and to connect both the end surfaces through a straight pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
