PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-polymerization apparatus in which danger of infection for a dentist is remarkably reduced, operability is also improved by comparatively reducing a weight of a storage battery, and production costs can be reduced as well in spite of noise reduction. SOLUTION: In this photo-polymerization apparatus (10) which is composed of a case member (12), a fan (26), particularly such as an axial flow fan, provided within the case member (12) and a light source (14) for radiating polymerization radiation, particularly for curing photo-polymerizable dental materials, a rotary shaft of the fan (26) extends across an optical axis (76) of the light source (14), and an exhaust opening (28) on a side surface is formed on the case member (12).
