<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide body which efficiently and evenly transmits light introduced from a light entering surface to an emitting surface. <P>SOLUTION: Each projection 14 formed on the emitting surface is formed into a cross-sectionally wedge-like shape composed of three slope parts formed by being tilted with respect to a horizontal reference surface z of the emitting surface, and comprises a first slope 14a, a second slope 14b and a third slope 14c. The first slope 14a is tilted in a direction of a light transmission direction L at a tilt angle θ<SB>1</SB>with respect to the reference surface z; and the second slope 14b is tilted in the direction of the light transmission direction L at a tilt angle θ<SB>2</SB>with respect to the reference surface z.
