PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind speed sensor device for stably measuring a wind speed and a wind direction with a simple configuration even under a breeze, and to provide a ventilator that saves power and takes in natural wind as much as possible for stable ventilation. SOLUTION: The wind speed sensor devices 1, 2 comprise a sensor substrate 9 that is installed in a duct for guiding wind and becomes the guide vane of wind, a measurement section 3 comprising a first temperature sensor 11 provided on one side surface of the substrate 9 and a second temperature sensor 13 provided on the other side surface of the substrate 9, a reference temperature sensor 17, and a computing means 5. The substrate 9 is provided while being inclined to an axis in parallel with a channel, and the computing means 5 compares an output signal by comparing the first temperature sensor 11 and the reference temperature sensor 17 with an output signal by comparing the second temperature sensor 13 and the reference temperature sensor 17, thus computing the wind speed and wind direction.
