PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge instrument for linking a first member and a second member such as a main body and a camera unit to electrically interconnecting signals. SOLUTION: The hinge instrument for linking a housing to the main body of a photographic apparatus to rotate the housing at a predetermined angle includes a fixed bracket which is fixed on the main body, a hinge unit which is fixed on the housing and linked to the fixed bracket to reciprocate and rotate within the predetermined angle, a shaft member which is linked to the hinge unit and the fixed bracket to mutually rotate the hinge unit and the fixed bracket, and a detection unit which is installed in at least any one of either the fixed bracket or the hinge unit to detect the rotating angle of the hinge unit relative to the fixed bracket.
