PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile server device capable of avoiding a receiving error when receiving image data by facsimile. SOLUTION: This facsimile server device 20 is provided with a printer 3 being an image recorder for recording an image of image data, and a file server device 70 provided with a file memory 71 for storing file data such as image data is connected through a LAN (local area network) 70. When the printer 3 can not be used in receiving the image data (YES in step S2 of Fig.), a main control part 1 of the facsimile server device 20 controls the received image data so as to be transferred and stored to/into the file server device 70 through the LAN 70 (step S8).
