A mixed conductor which comprises an electron conductor comprising a carbon-based inorganic material having pi bonds in the main chain thereof and thus exhibiting the conductivity for electrons and, fixed thereto through a covalent bonding, intercalation and/or inclusion, a proton conductor comprising an inorganic material exhibiting the conductivity for electrons. The conductor is an inorganic mixed conductor which functions at a low temperature. |
