<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid with a hot water draining function to cause a hot water draining port to open by peeling from an easily peelable layer wherein if a half cut forming the hot water draining port reaches a paper sheet or if the paper sheet is thin, humidity from the open air does not permeate inside and strength against piercing does not degrade. <P>SOLUTION: The lid 1 with the hot water draining function is formed by sticking the surface of a filling varnish layer 40 on the rear of the paper sheet 21 to the surface of an adhesive resin layer of a composite sheet 10 consisting of the adhesive resin layer 15, an aluminum foil 17 and a sealant layer 16 in this sequence via the easily peelable layer 30 except an adhesive part 60 within a half cut region with an inner diameter of r and by scoring the half cut 50 forming the hot water draining port with an inner diameter of R at two positions on the composite sheet from the sealant layer surface to the paper sheet 21.
