<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image searching device which simply and easily conducts accurate search with fewer leaks without keyword imparting work requiring considerable labor, an image searching method, an image searching program, and a recording medium which records the program thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The image searching device is provided with an image input means (11), a means which calculates an attribute value indicating a feature of an image (18), a means which stores at least one image and attribute value (8), a means which retrieves an image similar to a reference image among the stored images (25), a means which displays a reduced image of the retrieved image (13), a means which makes a requester of the image retrieval select an image similar to the reference image among the displayed reduced images (14), a means which newly prepares a category for the stored images and adds a symbol indicating the similarity to the reference image to the category for each selected image (23), and a means which adds numeric indicating reliability of the similarity in response to the category (20). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
