<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay connector wherein a manufacturing cost is reduced, and the connector is miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: This relay connector is equipped with a first housing 2, a line board 3 mounted to the first housing 2, and a second housing 4. In the first housing 2, forty terminals 21 and 22 corresponding to forty terminal parts 201 of a flexible board 200 are arranged in a line. The line board 3 has twenty terminal parts 30 on its front surface, and twenty terminal parts 31 on its back surface, and the terminal parts 30 and the terminal parts 31 are alternately connected to the terminals 21 of the first housing 2 and to the terminals 22 thereof, respectively. The second housing 4 has a board insertion hole 40 for inserting the line board 3, the terminal parts 30 of the inserted line board 3 and the terminal parts 31 thereof are brought into contact with terminals 41 and terminal parts 42 in the second housing 4, respectively.
