ACCURATE PREVIEW FOR DIGITAL CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enhanced digital camera and method for providing an accurate preview capability.

SOLUTION: A digital camera (10) and a method (60) for incarnating a preview image mode are disclosed, wherein how a final image is viewed is accurately shown together with a view of the depth of field and a shutter speed time effect (blur). The preview image is displayed not as consecutive video images but as a series of still images indicating stop actions. An overlay or a picture in picture can be used to display live action video images at the same time so as to be contained in frames.
