PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce the abrasion of a water tube near a boundary part of the refractory lined on a part kept into contact with the combustion chamber corner part, of the waterwall in a bare tube state, by preventing the disturbance of the downflow of a fluid medium in the combustion chamber corner part. SOLUTION: In this furnace wall structure of the combustion chamber corner part of the fluid bed boiler wherein a furnace wall constituting the combustion chamber C having a rectangular cross-sectional shape, is composed of the waterwall 1, and the water tube 1a at the corner part of the combustion chamber C is protected by lining the refractory 2 on the part kept into contact with the corner part of the combustion chamber C, of the waterwall 1 in the bare tube state, a plate-shaped cover body 3 having a smooth abrasion-proof surface is mounted and fixed to a boundary part of the refractory 2 and the waterwall 1, and the part 2a kept into contact with the water tube 1a in the bare tube state, of the refractory 2 is covered by the cover body 3.
