PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosetting powder coating material which is easily toned and forms a coating film homogeneous in hue and excellent in external appearance such as smoothness, gloss, and brightness. SOLUTION: The thermosetting powder coating material is prepared by using a raw material masterbatch for the coating material. The masterbatch is prepared by kneading a thermosetting resin together with at least one material selected from among a pigment, a curing agent, and other additives (except the pigment and the curing agent).
