PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out auxiliary wash using a spray nozzle regardless a parking position or the size of an automobile. SOLUTION: In a portal car washing machine provided with the spray nozzle 15 for manual work on a car washing machine main body 1, a forward moving key 36 and a backward moving key 37 for traveling the car washing machine main body 1 is equipped to the spray nozzle 15. Only when a traveling position of the car washing machine main body 1 is in a specified range L from a stand-by position P1, a main body traveling command by the forward moving key 36 and the backward moving key 37 is received.
